Généralités
Pulse counting is performed on an opto-coupled input with a maximum frequency of 10kHz.
The totalizer is reset by the reset signal. The counting range is up to 1,048,575 (0x0FFFFF).
Printing is initiated :
- by activating the PRINT signal (which can be a push button, the 24v output of a remote hardware)
Or
- by the internal timer (for monitoring a flow rate as a function of time for example)
The printed messages are pre-programmed in Flash memory and can be freely modified by the user using the P208 software
A formatting function is available to convert the counted value
- Conversion of type a*X + b with a and b signed numbers
- a between -2000 and +2000
- b between -32768 and 32767
- The whole is shifted by a factor of 10 between 10E+6 and 10E-6
- Choice of the number of characters (from 0 to 24) with alignment to the right (positive number) or to the left (negative number)
- Choice of the number of decimals (from 0 to 6)
For example, you can convert :
- milliliters counted in liters with a=1, b=0, 10E-3 and 3 decimal places:
54318 will print 54.318liters counted in US gallons with a=264, b=0, 10E-3 and 3 decimal places:
54318 will print 14339.952
